Rhys Jones, of Galltegfa near Ruthin, and his friends Mathew Evans, of Bodfari, and Dion Davies from Groes near Denbigh were hit by a car while walking along the A541 near Bodfari at about 9pm on Thursday, August 21. They had been to the Denbigh and Flint Show together that day and were heading towards Trefnant when the accident happened. Rhys, an agricultural contractor, has been unable to work since and has been in and out of Glan Clwyd Hospital due to severe pain in his head and back and has difficulty getting around.
