Residents will have to opt in to new service at A 24 a year, potentially bringing in A 840,000 each year Denbighshire County Council has decided to scrap offering the garden waste collection service free of charge, and people will instead have to opt in and pay. It will cost each household A 24 a year to be part of the new scheme, just less than A 1 per collection, and could bring in A 840,000 each year.
