A POPULAR funfair spanning four generations is hanging in the balance after hopes of finding a new 'home' proved fruitless. Allan Stokes' Fair has to move from its long-standing base on Shrewsbury Road to make way for the new Smithfield leisure complex on which work will begin in the New Year.
