Denbighshire County Council and the GoSafe Camera Partnership, which operates safety cameras across Wales, are using technology at the Bodfor Street and Wellington Road junction to photograph vehicles that pass traffic lights set to red. In the past three years there have been 14 road collisions, two of them serious, and subsequent investigations have found up to 604 vehicles a week have travelled through the signals whilst on red.
