In Ruthin a special concert was held in Nantclwyd y Dre where harpists and an ensemble from Ysgol Brynhyfryd performed, alongside a rousing performance from Cor y Porthmyn. Afternoon tea was enjoyed by guests and a raffle was held, with all proceeds going to the mayor's charities which include Hafal Denbighshire, Mencap and St John Ambulance.
