Hughes Cycles and Prams in Rhyl, which first opened in 1947, has blamed the store's decline on the internet and out of town shopping centres Lewis Mclellan of Hughes Cycles and Prams in Rhyl will close in the next few weeks after many years of trading on Bodfar Street One of North Wales's oldest bike shops is set to shut, with the man that runs it saying it is because the town has "gone to pot" But Mr Mclellan have now revealed he will be bringing the shutters down on the shop for good, saying the internet as well as out of town shopping centres has left Rhyl struggling for trade.
