Denbighshire County Council announced the good news after the Welsh Government confirmed the final business case for Ysgol Glan Clwyd, the Welsh-medium secondary school which serves the north of the county, had been approved. The project, to provide new teaching accommodation, refurbishment of existing teaching accommodation and demolition of the poorest areas of present accommodation, will be funded by the council and match-funded by the Welsh Government, with an overall investment of 15.9m.
